A lot of the designs you will see in the gallery or shop section have taken some time to design the perfect font and layout for the size and shape.  We have found it easier to sell premade designs with the font already designed to fit the character and feel for the personalization.  We do enjoy creating custom orders, that can be unique and one of a kind that you design to fit your personality.  Please understand that we have provided the font and symbol charts to help give you inspiration.  Upon occassion we have customers pick a font and it will not fit with the layout of the piece. From experience, we know what will fit with spacing and size. We do not expect you to know and understand all of this. It can be overwhelming at times to choose from all of the options. Especially, when it comes to chosing the fonts, the finishes and metal types.  We have tried to simlify the process to streamline and make it as easy as possible.

      Consider the following;  Who is it for?  Is it gender specific?  What kind of personality, occupation orhobbies do they have? Fonts better for genders, more masculine or feminine. The size in the upper right hand corner of the chart. This will impact fit. If you want uppercase and lowercase or just lowercase. If there are numbers that match the font. If it's a big quote, a very curly font may be hard to read.  Some symbols are much larger than others and may not fit. The finishes in the very last chart are a little complicated to understand. We try our best to describe the finish in any shop photos. Not all metal types have all finish options available. We work in pure food grade aluminum, copper, brass, sterling silver,  some fine silver, nugold, gold, rose gold, gold filled, silver filled. The more popuplar options are a nice shiny finish on aluminum and sterling silver. Our personal favorite is the antique finish on copper. In some cases we like to use a brushed matte finish on a peice that may take more wear, like a keychain so it won't show fingerprints and tarnish faster.  We use a hand hammered finish on the edges to bring out natural patina's for accents.

     It is helpful before ordering if you know FONT- SYMBOL- FINISH. Pick a font or two from the charts below that you would like for customization, an idea of what size, shape and what you are looking to have made, the finish on the peice and that you are aware of the production turn around time before shipping. We ask that you do read the policy section and understand production times and this will save you from any rush order fees and having your custom peice arrive in time.  If you are overwhelmed with the options, we understand. You can leave in the notes at checkout, as pictured or I need help will, so we may contact you. We can also discuss metal options and budgets too.

      Occassionally, we do reserve the right to change the font and characteristics if they will not fit or turn out well. At which time we do contact you before doing so.  It is our goal to have the best possible finished peice unique to fit you. Each letter is hand stamped and there may be a unique variation of misalighnment that is natural when handcrafted work that adds an organic feel. The font and symbol charts below are photos scanned in as It was difficult to get a good high quality image of the fonts and symbols otherwise. They are sort of grainy, the actual fonts are much better quality.
